Psychological Support

Support | Well-being and resilience

Description

Psychological support helps beneficiaries and their families face the emotional challenges related to disability. It encourages emotional expression, resilience, and adaptation to life changes.

Our psychologists offer a confidential listening space adapted to each person's age and abilities. Support may be individual, family-based, or in groups, depending on expressed needs.

For beneficiaries

  • Management of emotions and anxiety;
  • Strengthening self-esteem and confidence;
  • Help adapting to transitions (starting at the centre, adolescence…);
  • Support in peer relationships.

For families

Parents receive support to understand disability, manage daily stress, and strengthen their role as caregivers. Support groups may be organized to share experiences.
